Chasing Claire by Paula Marinaro! Available March 27, 2015...but see my review today!

Paula Marinaro is one of the up and coming giants in the romance subgenre of Motorcycle Clubs. Her first novel in the "Hell's Saints Motorcycle Club" series ~Falling Raine~ is one of my favorites in the genre. I was a bit hesitant when I saw this book on *Netgalley* but decided to read and review and boy! was I glad I did.

Chasing Claire was a different feeling book than Falling Raine but the writing was just as excellent. Claire is a very different character then her sister Raine, she has been through addiction, kidnaping and murder. PM could have made her all timid and lackluster but she didn't Claire actually worked hard and turned her life around and I just adored that in this novel. It was nice to see a woman emerge from the ashes of her life to find not only herself but love, freedom and home.

Claire's story isn't always easy to read, there are dark elements and Reno is one bad biker boy who has a quick temper that leads him to react hastily. We have some great adventure scenes and intrigue. Not as gritty as some of the other novels in this genre but has that edge that puts it in the category with those novels. This is not your rainbows and cotton candy MC novel and I for one loved that about the story. The steam level is high but doesn't overshadow the story or become the story. This is a wonderfully character driven tale and I can't wait to read more novels in the series. Like all good biker novels the secondary cast of characters were just as good as the main characters and it was wonderful to get a peak into Raine's life now that she is settled, happy and is a mother.

I'm not going to go into the story because I think you really need to experience it and I don't want to spoil it all I will say is that it was worth the wait.

Paul Marinaro's writing surpasses many in the romance genre and has made herself a name to be reckoned with I can't wait to read Glory's story which is the next novel in this series and am dying to see her create new series and characters I can follow. A strong 4 star review and if you are a MC aficionado like myself this is a DO NOT MISS! read.

Thanks Netgalley for the opportunity to give an honest review.
