Totally not what I expected...I'm not sure if I like it or hate it...all I know is that now I *have* to read book 2 Truth.

My Thoughts:

I am a bit puzzled at how to review this book. The writing HANDS DOWN one of the best written books I have read in a while. However, the answer if I liked the book I have to say no...but that is because of the content and story line. I don't want to do any spoilers so I am being vague here....but I am supposed to not like the book ..it isn't that type of book. It is the kind of book that will make you angry, homicidal, wanting to slap the TSTL female protagonist. Then there was the end, even though it was foreshadowed through out the book it came as a huge shock. I am compelled to read book 2 but I don't want to ..but I have to...but I don't want to...*confused* The book is so shocking, emotional, engulfing but dark..very very dark. I keep asking the author on twitter if there is a HEA...I need to know that so I can continue...If I am reading all this I need to know we have a silver lining at the end. ...to date she has refused to answer.

4.5 Stars from me...The only reason she lost the 1/2 star is that it got soo intense I had to put it down and walk away for a while....so I was *almost* at my safeword limit. Great Writing Aleatha Romig...now if you will just let me know about the HEA...I would be happy:)
